I paint daily and am always on the look out for good brushes. I bought this Royal Medium Gold Taklon Paint Brush Set because it came with 12 brushes in an assortment of sizes that I use. I really like these brushes, and will probably buy another package. There is very little shedding in the beginning and the brushes are easy to use, have some good give to the bristles, clean easily ( I am using acrylics) and keep their shape. My favorites from this package are the filberts. I would buy these again and recommend them.

I draw painting so I need some brushes for acrylic pigment. The royal brush looks nice and I like the golden taklon especially. However, the surface of the smallest one was broken after 1 week use.

I recently purchased these and so have only been using these synthetic brushes a short while, but I am impressed with them already. The quality is good and the handles are just the length I like them to be. I am a fine artist who has used a lot of brushes over the years. I paint using acrylics, BTW, and have used Langnickel before, so when I saw that name on the packaging, I thought that, for the money, I could not go wrong. So far I have not changed that initial opinion, I am happy to report.

Overpriced but nice brushes overall. Can find these for 8 bucks at Ross or perhaps elsewhere. I would check local first. God Bless.
