Metal Black Quill and Ink Italian Writing Set Reviews

Hello! First off, I bought this exact quill and ink set at Barns and Noble months ago for about $20. Seriously please read this, don't pay an extra $20 dollars plus shipping, it's not worth quite that much. As for the quill itself, it has a very nice weight and while it writes it gets somewhat splochy sometimes; a decrotive hand shape is not the best design for writing. Luckily the nib is removeable and with a good one, it is easily my favorite quill. The ink works well, but Aladine ink is darker and bleeds less. I absolutley love the metalwork though! You can't really see it well in this picture but it's a sort of vine design. Overall I would reccomend this, especially if you have other nibs. Not quite worth $40 though.
