I read the reviews on these paints before purchasing and thought I'd take a chance on them. These watercolor paints are horrible. The do not mix or dissolve in water like they should. They clump into tiny paint particles and can not be used. A couple of tubes came with the name of a different color than what was in the tube. One said Violet but the color in the tube was Green!? Don't waste your money on these paints.

I love these paints. They are easy to use. I would recommend these paints to any beginner wishing to learn how to paint with watercolors.

I wouldn't really classify these as "watercolors". They are thick and gritty, like gouache. The color doesn't spread very well, and after it dries, it is very inflexible. Difficult to work with. The deeper and more saturated colors work okay for accents, but overall, not good paint. When it dried, it had a very matte and chalky texture. I would recommend springing for a pricier brand of watercolor in order to get any good results.
