Bought this set at a local crafter's store. The pliers are definately not for fine jewelry making. They are rough, have teeth and sharp edges which damage the wire. Spend more and get something that will leave you with a professional look.

Seller describes tools as "mini" tool set, upon receipt tools are FULL SIZE. Beyond, there is a spring set in each tool to facilitate opening and closing. The springs are either corroded or such poor material, you can squeeze pliers closed, spring will not flex open on most. Really POOR QUALITY pliers. NOT recommended!

I spent an hour smoothing the inside of my needlenose, my roundnose has a bent nose, yes it came that way. I still need to take a file to my bentnose, but hey for the price they were well worth it and since I'm new to beading and wire bending and didn't want to invest much in tools at that point then they were a good investment for me. I'll probably replace them with a more expensive set at some time in the future, but not in 2013.
