My daughter order this for me but I did not get Kemper 6 inch Ribbon Tools set of 5. I got a no name set of 6 wire tools. This is no even close to the Kemper product.

I think this small kit has a great mix of different shapes for different patterns. I actually use them for carving 3D pumpkins, but they would work spectacularly for clay.

Can't complain too much. Don't use ribbon tools that often. Tried to used these for pumpkin carving as suggested on a few websites. These tools aren't quite tough enough to use for pumpkin carving. The skin makes these hang up a bit. Once you get the skin off they will cut the pumpkin flesh fairly well.

My lack of skill with ribbon tools doesn't equate to losing a star. They seem like they would work excellent for their intended use with clay.
