Go ahead and indulge yourself with the Gingher-13 gift set!! I received this for Christmas and am so impressed with theses scissors that I know they will be passed down to my daughters as a family heirloom! These are professional grade shears and feel good in the hand as well as cut precisely with little effort! I am not a professional and feel that they are too good for me! I love it!

This is a winner. I bought the Mundial set first. The 8" Mundial scissors were much better than stainless steel to me. The small scissors didn't cut "worth a flip." I gave that set away as a gift (the best scissors the recipient ever owned), and bought this Gingher set. Repeat, it is a winner. As good as the 8" Mundial scissors seemed to be, the Gingher 8" were a joy to use. I actually bought the Gingher scissors because of a review of another reviewer on Amazon. I was impressed enough to buy 6 more pairs of the Gingher 8" knife edge fabric scissors to give as Christmas gifts.
