I purchased these to cut roof felt and wanted to be able to make a sharp long cut. These are quality large scissors. What else can you say?

These are MY scissors, nobody else's. And I love them. Mom had a pair when I was a kid and I never understood why she was so protective. Expensive, yes. But worth the price and should last me the rest of my days.

These things are HUGE. I didn't realize how big they were going to be. But I love them. Perfect cutting from base to tip. Probably too big for the kids to use, but great for adults.

I've always wanted a great pair of scissors (shears) since I was a kid & my parents had a very good pair -the whole family knew to always put them back in the same drawer so everyone else could find 'em nobody wanted to use other scissors. That's how I feel about this marvelous, excellent, quality tool. They have a wonderful feel for both hand fit and heft; they're SHARP and have easily cut through everything I've used them for (being reasonable as to their proper use, of course!) Perfect, straight cuts through paper & fabric, corrugated cardboard, as well as easy cuts through that nasty hard plastic packaging that we all hate. The bent shape allows you to rest the shears on the cutting surface for greater accuracy or stability when needed for precise cuts. They look like a family heirloom. You don't find products like this much these days. I'm planning to buy a shorter pair for myself, & am considering these as a holiday gift for my siblings.
