These are NOT the cheap "hog bristle" brushes that you see in Michael's for 99 cents each. These are a nice, soft synthetic bristle ideal for acrylic and oil painting and the rounds are even ok for some watercolor stuff. This is an excellent buy. I see brushes of this quality in the art stores for at least $6-$8 for each brush--more for the larger size ones. Case is a little "stiff", but I'm sure it will soften up with use.

I really liked these brushes. They seem well made and likely to last for a good amount of time. They have a nice feel with the silicone grip. The bristles seem to be a good quality.

if you're looking for a good brush set than look no farther. in my opinion, royal brushes is second best next to windsor & newton in a way if u know how to take care of paint brushes

Great product for a great price! It is not the high quality one finds in the local art store but it is perfect for what i need it for!
