I used it to carve a model clay to a life size face in Ceramics 101 class and fired it to stone, and glazed it and fired it again. The tools are very useful to creating small carving, holes, and lines. The tools are made well and lasts. I will use it again on next level of advanced ceramics classes in the future.

My kids used this when sculpting with clay. Perfect for what we needed. There are enough tools to entice/inspire them to try new techniques or textures.

I purchased these tools for our yearly pumpkin carving contest. I was looking for ribbon tools to be specific and this set had the best price and was Prime eligible.

The metal poker worked great for stencil outlining. Just be sure to make a deep hole otherwise you can get lost later on.

The metal ribbon tools worked wonders. They are not strong enough to puncture the skin of the pumpkin, but if you cut an outline first of the shape (fire in my case) it is extremely easy to shave into the pumpkin.

I spent ~4 hours on this years pumpkin and they should hold up until next season. I recommend.

the size of this tools are perfect. They are not too big and can do some fine detailing on clay sculpture.
