My daughter enjoyed the paints and the roller, but the plastic tray is so flimsy that it bends and breaks immediately. Also, there is not a lot of paint in each little paint cup. The apron/smock is of such thin and flimsy material that it's a joke. Don't waste your money.

I had to write a review after reading the only other one on here. My son got this for Christmas a few months before he turned three and we've used it many times in the 6 months since. It's always a big hit! The plastic tray is slightly flimsy, but it's held up with my rough and tumble three-year old boy and multiple washings. He loves blue, so that paint is getting a little low, but I plan on just refilling the little container because it's so handy having it all together. My daughter received this as a birthday gift at her 3rd birthday. It's a bit messy but she has enjoyed it a lot. One of the paints had gone bad so I called Faber-Castell and they promptly sent a replacement. I bought this set for my daughter when she was 3 1/2 years old. In the 8 or 9 months since i bought it, she has made great use of it and has had a lot of fun. However, the build quality is terrible. The tray is a joke, made of cheap thin plastic that bends and breaks at the seams. The apron makes the tray look like it's good quality. I don't expect it to last much longer. it's a shame, such a great idea executed so poorly.As for the cost, I bought it at a local toy store for more than amazon, but I don't think even the amazon price is a good deal for this quality.
