These mats are really helpful. Not that I am doing much beading. I am working with chain mail and these mats help me pick up and manipulate jump rings more easily.
These mats are large enough to keep piles of all my materials, the piece I am working on and my tools. When I want to stop working, I simply fold over the mat onto the materials to make sure it is all kept in place.
I have been working one one side of one of these mats for two months now and it still doesn't show any wear and tear. It looks like these mats will last me a long time.
If you are frequently working with beads, jump rings, jewelry or other such materials then one of these mats will be very useful.

These mats are great. Very prompt service and nicely packaged and came in great colors. They are not flimsy or cheap in any way considering they cost $1.67. Folks you CANNOT go wrong I guarantee it. Don't let the overprice cost of other mats fool you. If you are looking for 11x14 mats and do not mind pastel colors then this IS the item for me. I just love them. The reason I took a chance on these was due to another customer answering I question I had about thickness. Well she was dead on and them some. These reviews are so incredibly helpful for they have helped me with this purchase and many others so I in turn return the favor in kind.
