These are advertised as kiddie oil pastels, which they are. But the box's dimensions are in fact 2.5" X 2.25" X .75. NOT 2.9", which is the standard (adult) size for pastels. But the quality is good (not too soft and gooey) and the price is CHEAP. The sticks are pretty tiny. I am a professional artist who goes through a LOT of black oil pastels. I prefer the Van Gogh oil pastels at $1.79 a STICK, but my supplier was out. These are just as good, but tiny and not the dimensions advertised.
