I really enjoy these bamboo needles. I have a few different sizes now as I've been slowly buying them as I've needed them. I am fairly new to knitting but I find these much easier to use than aluminum ones, because your work does slide so easily, yet they are still smooth to my fingers and not as heavy. However, I noticed the tips arent as pointy compared to other wooden and aluminum needles I've used, but I am sure it's because of the bamboo and not the brand Clover. My cats got a hold of a pair of these and found them especially nice to chew on and they indent easily because they arent very hard, they then can become ruined because of snagging. Not that my ignorance is fair for a review, but it's a heads up to anyone who has any furry friends about.

I'm rather partial to the Clover brand needles, as a lot of my knitting needles are this brand. They're just very nice. I have both regular and circular needles from Clover that I've used before now, and these are the first DPNs I've bought and use. These are just as nice as all the rest of the ones I own. They're nicely smooth, no splintering issues at all (nor have I had that issue with any other Clover needles I've bought), and for knitting in the round the wood is perfect since stitches don't slide off as easily as they would with metal needles. The bamboo also just feels really nice in your hands as you knit. They may cost more than most metal or plastic needles, but they're totally worth it, especially when it comes to DPNs. Definitely give them a try!Best Deals for Clover - Bamboo Double Point Knitting Needles 7" 5/Pkg - Size
I'm very partial to bamboo needles. Yarn stays put but can still be moved. I was worried that at their teeny size, they'd break easily, but these have held up well. These are perfect for tiny projects (Such as anything in the "Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi" book), kids' plushies, or even detail work on larger knitted projects.Honest reviews on Clover - Bamboo Double Point Knitting Needles 7" 5/Pkg - Size
After trying a circular needle to make a hat and having trouble with the cord being very hard to deal with, I decided to go back to the method by which I learned to knit in the round (back in the mists of time, or that's what it feels like). These are smooth, light and a pleasure to work with. I wish they would offer 10" or 9" length for these, in addition to 5" and 7".I picked these up at a local store, since I had a coupon that made them cheaper (sorry amazon).
