I must be the hulk because the handles bent on the first use, rendering the circle punch completely useless. I tried to bend them back and go figure they bent the other way. I used the heart one instead and no dice with that one either. I was only punching 3 sheets of normal flimsy paper... and yes I am sure it hadn't gone through hence the pressure I applied.

I'm happy with the product so far. The hole punchers do feel cheaply made, but

I don't use them for big jobs, so they're in good condition months later.

I don't like the raised bumps on the handles, and squeezing them does feel a bit like a work out :), but it's understandable.

I read in another review that the handles had an odor, but I only notice the odor when I smell the handles closely, and the odor does not stay on my hands or linger at all (and I consider myself sensitive to smells).

My main complaints

1. sometimes a ring is left around the hole

2. the "hole-catcher" is uncomfortable/awkward to open and sometimes ineffective.

3. the larger hole puncher does not always make a clean cut through a single sheet of paper

I like how these hole punchers "reach deeper" to the center of the paper compared to standard hole punchers (about one inch). Also, these are my first "non-standard" hole punchers, so I like having three new sizes, which makes all the negatives of the product tolerable, given the price I paid.

I concur with another reviewer that there is sometimes a ring left around the hole, but the hole punchers all work fine otherwise. None of them have broken on me and I used them on Crane Lettra paper (300 and 600 gsm) and obviously the thicker was more difficult to work with, which is why the 300 gsm was chosen in the end. I would recommend this pack if you are in need of a variety of sizes.

I have used this product for a couple of months is a good product for the supply of various sizes but its construction is weak.
