I was hoping to find some stencils to stencil one of the walls in our bathroom. These stencils are rather small, and I think they would work better for smaller crafy things, like pillows, curtains, posters, etc. They seem like they would be really good, just not for what I need them for!

The patterns are nice, but I wish the arabesque was in reverse where you paint the lines instead of the field, you use waaayyyy to much paint this way. I am doing pillows so painting all of the fabric isn't so hot because it loses the softness and flexibility and the chance of it washing out is worse with the whole field being painted instead of just the lines. The plastic is a little flimsier than other stencils I have purchased from other sellers, for the price you'd expect thicker more durable plastic that doesn't crimp/buckle so easily. Not sure what kind of durability these will offer, I doubt they will hold up for heavy use.

I love the patterns on the stencils and they were the right size, but they are pretty flimsy. I made the mistake of rinsing the paint off mine with hot water and they got all warped! When you use them, make sure you tape them down really good because even the ones that I didn't warp with hot water started getting weird.

My mistake was not seeing that they were not self adhesive. But beyond that, I did not like that they were all on one sheet, requiring cutting of the sheets if you wanted to use. I thought they were a big small as well for any bigger projects just as walls, dressers etc.

I didn't realized it was so small, my fault. It should be ideal for borders, that's it. I might by a bigger pattern next time
