This product far exceeded my expectations. I run a photography business and this product is perfect for matting my photos. I thought since it was cheaper than other mats on the market that the quality would also be cheaper, this is not so. The quality is excellent. The mats did not come scratched or bent, making all of them usable. I am very glad it came with both the front, backings, and a very professional looking bag to put them in. I definitely will buy this product again. When this product is put together with a photograph it looks very professional. For those of you who may not know, in order to hold the front mats to the backings you will need linen tape to make a hinge on one side and mounting strips (I use Lineco) to hold the photo in place. I also used a small piece of double stick tape to hold the side opposite the linen tape hinge together.

I've given up on cutting my own mats. Getting a precut mat, matching backer board, and vinyl sleeve is great and saves a huge amount of time. I'm not sure if these are acid free, suitable for archival work, etc. but OK for what I do.

The product was fair. All the pieces were included in the order. However, many of the mats had scratches on them and were unusable.
