I purchased these for use on dry erase activity cards. They work great on the cards and the colors are vivid. I just assumed these were washable because they were advertised as kid friendly on the front of the box. However, on the back of the box, it states "markers contains colorants that may stain" and believe me, these markers will stain clothes. The red does not wash out at all.

I LOVE this. However, I haven't let my 2-year old daughter color it yet because it's sitting on a vintage kids' table that I would not like to have ruined. We use the pens in the garage, though, and on a white board, they are great.

Seriously, if you saw this table, you'd do the same.

The mat itself is just incredible. I wish I could afford to order more. It's easy to clean and it is waterproof (meaning nothing will leak through, not that water won't clean it). I love the retro drawings, too. And my daughter likes to point at the different animals and call out family members' names. I was happy when I was likened to the fox. Not so stoked when I was likened to the cow. I guess I should consider the source.

We had our family visiting for two weeks, and we always go out to eat a couple of times while they are visiting. We have a 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter. You know how it is when the dinner doesn't appear on the table exactly when the little one wants it? They sometimes get kind of antsy, right? Well, this was perfect. After ordering, we put down her placemat, gave her the colors, and away she went. Those on each side of her also got to color. Next thing you know the dinner appeared, and her plate went directly upon her placemat. It cleans off really well (except the red not so well). Overall, this is a great project for little ones at any time, as it rolls up small enough to put in your purse in a baggie with the colors, and it can be used any where. Good buy.

Excellent product! Very good quality mat and markers. An art project that you can recreate over and over again. My son (age 6) and daughter (age 4) both loved it and spent a long time coloring and recoloring the different pictures. It was very easy to wash and reuse. I also liked the art/drawings fun, interesting, modern and not Disney :-). I highly recommend this product.
