I didn't buy this on Amazon, but I came here to buy more only to find out these pencils don't have a review yet, perish the thought! These really are phenomenal, I love vibrant color, and to achieve this I just pencil my drawing lightly, and then use the traditional brush and water combo to achieve the beautiful water color effect. The pigment isn't chalky, and it would be perfect for sketching on the go/painting at home afterward. I am so happy with this purchase!

Best Deals for Pentalic Watercolor Pencil Set

I really like the quality of the pigment of these pencils. I'm not an artist, but they have helped me make pretty nice drawings of plants for a class I'm taking. The pigment is very smooth and they work beautifully whether or not you use them as watercolors. I could easily see them being my go-to for colored pencils. My only complaint is that the lead in one of the pencils was so broken up that I can barely use it, if I try to sharpen it to a point, it immediately breaks off. So, while the others are still almost new, it is being sharpened down to nothing. I've just emailed the company requesting a replacement pencil, if they are willing to do this I will definitely change my review to five stars because the pencils are actually very nice for the price.
