Used these for temporarily adding color to hair. Saw this cool look on Pintrest and decided to go with these.

The colors were great and came through brown hair easily. I was afraid they would be small and I would quickly go through the palette, not a concern. These will last a while even when using wet. The pigment can stain your fingers, gloves are an easy solve.

I purchased this for my daughter. She wanted to try "chalking" her hair as an inexpensive alternative to salon coloring. She has had a blast with it!! She's used pink, purple, and blue so far. When her hair was wet, and she took sections and colored the hair with the chalk. It's vibrant, and doesn't damage her hair. It washes right out, and she can use a different color next time!!

Pros:

Cover quality was superior to some other brands twice the price.

Color was bolder than other brands of pastels twice the price.

Price really cheap.

Cons:

The coverage for each stick IMO is about 12 inches x 12 inches. Basically one sheet of paper per stick.

Most other brands I only would use about 1/4 the stick of equal shape and size.

You would have to buy soft pastels about three to four times to match boldness however the ones that are

three to four times as much also only use 1/4 the stick for same size, so that's about even in that regard.

To do more than one sheet of paper you probably have to buy like three to four boxes. Also the most important

color white there was only one in the box. I also found my self lacking some great variances in colors and a lot of worthless colors. Because you go through the color so fast it was frustrating that I see a single chalk go in a small area have 35 sticks left of colors I don't need.

none were broken, I use them from polymer clay and sketching out drawings on walls and they work great. Really good for the price.

I used the pastels on some plaster statues.. I use to use a chalk they sold at the white goods shop and wasn't sure the pastels would be the same but they were.. my statues turned out professional and with a shot of clear coat they will be enjoyed for years.. The only thing is I wish they would have deeper colors and a better spectrum .. there were to many blues to close to each other .. same with the yellows and reds.. but I worked around it and since the finished product was I wanted all is fine,,
