Pretty decent set of tools for the money. You get eleven tools, ten have wooden handles with tips on both ends. The eleventh is a metal handled wire brush tool. The variety of tip shapes is adequate for most sculpting work although IMO a few of the tips are a bit too large if you're doing small items.

I actually bought these to use as pumpkin carving tools, and they worked out very well. Pumpkin rind can be quite tough, so I imagine these would work well on clay, as well. Can't beat the price, given how many tools are included.

I didn't want anything expensive. When I received these, I was pleasantly surprised. There seems to be a good assortment and they're pretty sturdy. Tools at both ends. I'm doing sometimes very small sculptures and they're sometimes a little too large, but in general, I'm very pleased. I would certainly buy them again, but I think these will last a long time.

I ordered this item to carve the kids' pumpkins. They were not sharp when they came in, but I sharpened the ones that I used, and it wasn't a problem. These tools worked like a charm! I have never carved detailed pumpkins before, and with these tools, they make my work look like a pro's work! I carved my kids' favorite characters on their pumpkins. I did not cut through the whole thickness of the pumpkin. I just just carved out the skin and shaved some of the pulp out both from the inside and out. The tool set also has a "shaver" that is normally used for small clay pots. I used that small shaver to shave the inside of the pumpkin to make it thinner so the light will shine through the carved out pattern. The result was absolutely amazing!
