The colors are brighter than the picture that comes with it, brighter than the original. It was a lot of fun to do, you can pick it up and put it down quickly when you are just looking for something to do for a little while. Plenty of paint, and I liked the brushes so much that I am using them for other projects.

one of the tubes of paint was empty upon opening it...i sent an e-mail to diy paintings requesting to know what color corresponded to the number on the tube but never recieved a response...

Canvas numbers hard to read. Paint pods small and partly dried up. Would not recommend.Not worth the money spent on painting.

Really fun. Only wish it was larger. When it arrived the box was torn and smashed, but they were prompt at sending another one. So I had some extra paint that I did use.

Not sure why they call it an oil painting..... it's acrylic. That needs to be changed. Also you have to assemble the frame and stretch the canvas yourself. Not the first time I've purchased things from Amazon with in incorrect description.
