These are not as good as the Boye or Addi nickel plated. they are not as smooth or slick and have almost as much drag as a less expensive aluminum needle.

This is a nice set of needles. The case is ver nice and the needles are straight with a nice point. They are just a little heavy for my taste. I didn't notice this when I first bought them but now that I do I wish I would have sent them back. If it doesn't bother your hands to use needles with a little weight to them then you will love this set. It's made well and the case an needles are very attractive. My hands did not like the weight.
