I'm a craft enthusiast and do several projects a week. I typically get hot glue on my desk (or something else that shouldn't have hot glue on it) just as many times. I finally broke down and bought this craft mat, and I am so happy I did. It's durable but it doesn't take up a ton of real estate. Plus, you can roll it away if you want. I would highly encourage avid crafters to make the modest investment.

I love this mat and plan to get another for my crafting go-bag since it folds up into such a nice small package. It is great for all those messy tasks like mod podge, varnish, embossing, glitter, wood burning, etc. etc. etc. I have tried others, this one seems to have more silicone or something as it has better non stick qualities and cleans up really easy. I'm tempted to get one for dedicated food prep in the kitchen, I suspect it will work better than the pastry mat I have now . . .

I really like this craft mat because it is super easy to clean dried mod podge off it and it is pretty versatile as far as the amount of things you can do with it! The only downside is that it can't be used as a cutting mat.

Just another item I did not know was out there, I have been working on newspaper, that dies a great job protecting table tops from product spills or even that seeps from the work I'm doing, Have you ever picked up something from the newspaper and found the project glued to it. Now I don't have to worry about that. Small enough to fold and take from room to room easily. Thanks for the help Mod Podge!
