I use these in a figure drawing class, and have used them for several pieces. They are a bit cleaner than charcoal and erase very well. They also blend well with charcoal for some interesting effects. Great if you don't like the feel of charcoal, or are looking for something less messyArt Ed daughter is learning to use this media but still gives it high marks.
