Cheap Staedtler Lumocolor Non-Permanent Overhead Projection Markers
The pens give a clear distinct line when writing formulas or making diagrams. I find it's better to use the fine-tip markers for writing text based notes to be taken by the students. I started using the Lumocolor pens when the most modern thing was overhead projectors; they were always excellent. They resisted accidental erasure by the brush of a hand or cuff of a shirt yet they did erase easily with a kleenex or soft paper towel.

Buy National Design Jake the Pirate Velvet Wonder Art Color Set (12814A)
...so my (admittedly critical) 3 year old says. There's not much to color here and the markers were all dried out when we got this (no big deal, we have 8,062,497,332 markers anyway). It made a nice last minute stocking stuffer but I feel that there was a lot more velvet than colorable parts. He did a page and never touched it again.

Our daughter loves this show and coloring. This was a stocking stuffer for Christmas. It didnt cost a lot and she really enjoys coloring in it. I think there is like 10 pages in it so it doesnt last long but has cute little velvet marker pictures that she hangs on her wall.

I am no artist. I have to rely on rubber stamps and Cricut cartridges to make my cards worthwhile. I kept reading about Copic markers in Cardmaker magazine and decided to bite the bullet and order some. Are they pricey? Yes. Are they worth it? Definitely!!!! I no longer avoid stamping people since I have the skin tones to make them look real. As the previous reviewer wrote, no more Oompa Loompas and no more pale vampires either. My Santas look like Saint Nick and not some geisha girl. I also like these markers for coloring animals since there is so much control over which shade to use. These Copic markers are fantastic with the House Mouse rubber stamp series. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these markers and am so glad I purchased them.

Truly a must have if you're into coloring with markers, especially Copics!It's been a relief not having to "make" a color work as a skin tone for a piece & having that character end up looking like a Uumpa Lumpa. All realistic skin tone shades are included in the pack, from the palest to the darkest. It also includes the shades in between. I especially love the Copic trait of how you can blend the colors for a smooth & seamless shade. Love them! ^_^

I like using the copics with watercolors to just define something or highlight it. The pens are easy to use and it is nice to have two point and to be able to refill them. This is a wonderful starter pottery tool set. It doesn't have everything you need--i.e. metal scraper, wooden scraper, wire clay cutter, clay paring knife, wooden trimming tools, etc, but it has some great sculpting and "editing" tools that allow you to do wonderful detail-work. The only bad thing about these tools is that after a little use the heads tend to fall out of the wooden handle-sockets, so be careful when washing your tools or you will wash some of them down the sink! A little super-glue should do the trick though. Over all though, a decent product for the price.

As you can see from the pictures, they are all showing different combination of tools. And I got a ten-piece instead, missing the loop tool. And the original packaging was opened. I used this set of chipboard in conjunction with the Green Woodland paper stack. These animals are so cute and allow so many great creative options. I used it to make a book for my son's 1st year. It was a nice alternative to a more traditional baby theme.

I carry this with me everywhere. I do a lot of writing in my journal and I prefer to use a dip pen more than anything else, so this is the perfect little kit. I also do quite a bit of letter writing. Inside the box, there is enough room for two small rulers, a compass, a bone folder for letters, an eraser, a couple of wax seals, alcohol travel burner for wax, about 4 or 5 sticks of wax and a small stamp pad for same, extra pencil lead, a small coffin for extra pen nibs, a sandpaper pencil pointer, and a small bottle of acrylic ink pen-nib cleaner, like those little Speedball ink bottles except it's a pen cleaner. I was amazed that even though the box and the little space is small, I could cram so much into it. The only problems I had with the whole thing is that there is a plaque on the top of the box with the company's name on it...I took it off and it now has my own plaque on it. And, the case for it is very nicely made, but it ALSO has the company's name on it. I just put the cloth carry-case upside down with the name on the bottom and I never see it. I had never written with a glass pen before this set. For broad strokes and using quite a bit of ink, that's the glass pen right out of the box. So I used some very-very fine grit sandpaper to make a sharp point on it and now it works great!
