Would have given it a 5, but eraser was missing (obviously a factory error, as package was sealed). Great selection of pencils and sticks. Not too hard or crumbly. Pencils are a bit hard to sharpen though.

The Art Of Writing Traveler's Writing Chest Reviews

Customer Ratings:

I carry this with me everywhere. I do a lot of writing in my journal and I prefer to use a dip pen more than anything else, so this is the perfect little kit. I also do quite a bit of letter writing. Inside the box, there is enough room for two small rulers, a compass, a bone folder for letters, an eraser, a couple of wax seals, alcohol travel burner for wax, about 4 or 5 sticks of wax and a small stamp pad for same, extra pencil lead, a small coffin for extra pen nibs, a sandpaper pencil pointer, and a small bottle of acrylic ink pen-nib cleaner, like those little Speedball ink bottles except it's a pen cleaner. I was amazed that even though the box and the little space is small, I could cram so much into it. The only problems I had with the whole thing is that there is a plaque on the top of the box with the company's name on it...I took it off and it now has my own plaque on it. And, the case for it is very nicely made, but it ALSO has the company's name on it. I just put the cloth carry-case upside down with the name on the bottom and I never see it. I had never written with a glass pen before this set. For broad strokes and using quite a bit of ink, that's the glass pen right out of the box. So I used some very-very fine grit sandpaper to make a sharp point on it and now it works great!

Overall, WELL WORTH THE PRICE!

Review of Chocolate Truffels Lampwork Glass Bead Set

Customer Ratings:

I have found these chocolate beads in regards to my daughter's chocolate theme party. This company is amazing to deal with. They answered many of my questions and offered lots of suggestions. I ordered choker necklaces and used an assortment of pony beads with similar colors to be used as fillers, such as pink, lime green, and white beads. I just got them today and I cannot tell you how beautiful these beads are! The company also has a great return policy...the give you 100 days to return a product. I would highly recommend dealing with them!

My daughter loved these paint brush pens after using the set of 5 that can be found everywhere. She asked for more colors and I thought this set contained 40 colors. Not so. It has 8 classic colors and there are 5 each. It was not what I expected.

.This product is phenomenal! My two year old loves it it because she gets to paint. I love it because there is no water on the floor. The product description says that it comes with eight colors so it is exactly what was expected. I have recommended this product to all of my friends with children. The "paintbrush" is the perfect size and shape for her little hands and the paint dries quickly. The paint comes out of her clothes and washes right off her skin. I absolutely give this product five stars. I wish I could give it more.

These pens are great if you want a reasonably priced set.The colors are good and they work as almost as well as the expensive ones.

NOT just for kids!

Honest reviews on Crayola 40-Count Washable No Drip Paint Brush Pens

Easy to use from toddlers to big kids. Same benefit of real paint but with no mess (usually) and if so, all is washable. The box even acts as a great holder for the paint pens the way it's packaged.

Love these. My daughter can paint wherever she wants, whenever she wants. Really is no mess. Don't buy the cheap Elmer ones; they drip and don't clean easily and the colors are dull. Buy crayola's!

Hero Arts Woodblock Stamp Set, A Year of Holidays Ink N Stamp Reviews

Customer Ratings:

This is a good little stamper set but I would have liked more original ideas for the holidays. They work nicely and provide a clear image. However, I know the size is listed. But they did seem small. Overall satisfied though for the price.

I don't believe these stamps said how big they were. When I got them in, I was thinking, "Wow! Those are pretty small!" But, thats what happens when you buy off the internet sometimes. This would be a good set if you are a teacher and would like to stamp children's small hands.

Caran D'Ache Supracolor II Complete Set of All 120 Colors Review

I love my Prismacolors, but I also like to try all the new pencils that come out. The Supracolors aren't new, but they were new to me, and they offered me another choice, as well as colors not available in the Prismacolor line. I LOVE the Caran D'Ache products. These pencils lay down beautifully, can be used with either a soft 1 or 2 touch as well as a firmer touch, and they layer very nicely. The leads don't seem to break in the barrels as easily as some others I've tried. The color holds well, but can be picked up with tape, sticky tack, art eraser, as well as an electric eraser. All in all if you're buying new, looking for another choice in addition to your current pencils, or just want to shake things up a little, Caran D'Ache is a good choice in pencils.

The colors are pure, rich and mix well; you can pick them up easily with a clean eraser (gum or rubber). For more traditional looking watercolor paintings, these are also absolutely great. Very good lightfastness as well. I love them. I won't use any other colored pencils at all ever! Oh yeah --they are fun to use.

Best Deals for Caran D'Ache Supracolor II Complete Set of All 120 Colors

I love having the entire set of colors. the pencils are creamy and easy to use. I mostly use them dry, but love that I can intensify the color by dipping the point in water. these are cremier and more superior in color intensity than other brands.

Honest reviews on Caran D'Ache Supracolor II Complete Set of All 120 Colors

...and you'll be very happy with the purchase. I bought this 120 set after owning a set of 12 thats lasted for years. The pencil are incredibly sturdy and they sharpen cleanly. have yet to find watercolor pencils that can compare to Caran D' Ache's quality. The pigment is very strong especially when water is applied. There is more than one way to combine water with these pencils and you'll even get a short guide on different ways you can add water to your artwork. I gave away the first set I owed and the new owner of the set is amazed how easily these pencils glide. The colors aren't muddy or grainy when wet. You can use a portable watercolor brush, a regular brush dipped in water or dip the pencil in water before applying it to a page. Sometimes I don't even use water in my artwork because the color is strong enough to pop off the page without it. I am very happy with my purchase and shipping was very quick. I encourage everyone to use the watercolor pencils.

Great choice of colors and soft application. Similar to painting with watercolor paint. Really well worth the expense wish I'd had these before I'd bought other brands. Caran D'Arche products are great and they are safe for children to use.

Works great for building plastic models. Even used it during kitchen remodel to paint a thin area of drywall visible between the granite backsplash and upper cabinets so the 1/2" space wasn't so noticeable! The project possibilities are endless! Works great and I love it. Clean up is a breeze.

Best Melissa & Doug Wooden Princess Stamp Set Deals

Customer Ratings:

I ordered this item for my 5year old granddaughter. She loved it. It kept her busy stamping for hours. The stamp set comes in a nice compartmentalized wooden box, but the box does not have a lid. A wooden lid or sliding lid to keep stamps organized & prevent them from getting lost would be a nice addition to this item/.Melissa & Doug Wooden Princess Stamp Set

Melissa and Doug Princess Wooden Stamp Set is a fun toy that encourages creativity and keeps kids occupied. This stamp kit comes complete with nine different stamps, a small ink pad with pink and purple ink, and five colored pencils for your child's creative enjoyment.

Melissa and Doug toys are known for education, creativity, and durability and most every product the company makes can be counted on to posses at least two of these qualities. The same is true with this toy. The Melissa and Doug Princess Wooden Stamp Set isn't big on educational quality, but it does encourage creativity and the set and storage container are made from wood, for better durability. The wooden container offers easy storage so that pieces do not get lost and the product's individual pieces are designed to last.

Melissa and Doug Princess Wooden Stamp Set is simple yet fun and requires little supervision or explaining. My little princesses like this toy and still find it fun, but I have noticed that it lacks the staying power of some of their favorite toys. Unless I suggest it, they are not likely to use it. They do like it, but I think they have become a little bored with it. They prefer toys with movement and sound, and this offers neither.

This stamp set is certainly durable, but one thing that isn't made to last is the ink pad. I like that the Melissa and Doug Princess Wooden Stamp Set comes complete with its own ink and my girls strongly appreciate that the ink is colored purple and pink. However, don't expect the ink to last very long. The small blotches of ink will not offer many stamping adventures, so be prepared to purchase additional ink stamps within a few months.

Although not the perfect toy, the Melissa and Doug Princess Wooden Stamp Set is nonetheless a good toy for little princesses everywhere. It has many positive qualities, encourages creativity, and is priced right. Like I said, it lacks staying power, but it has enough positive qualities to recommend.

My daughter, almost 4 years old, has a hard time getting the stamps to work properly. She keeps telling me it isn't working right, and when I go to check I see that the stamps are not absorbing the ink enough for it to transfer to the paper properly.

When I try it, I have to press down hard on the ink pad and really milk it and then it will stick to the paper properly.

The stamps are cute, the wooden storage compartment is cute... but I am not impressed about the ink. I am not sure if there is something wrong with the ink we got or not. I do have other inkpads, made by a different company, and I am going to try the stamps on them to see if we can't get them to work better.

It's cute, and could be a lot more fun if they worked properly so they wouldn't frustrate a child.

Honest reviews on Melissa & Doug Wooden Princess Stamp Set

I got this for my daughter for Christmas, and she was thrilled with the stamps. However, as we sat down to play with it, we found the ink pad to be completely dry. Not so great, when we couldn't get ink for it on Christmas. We tried adding water to the pad to try to revive the ink, but it was pale and uneven when we tried to use it. So they are fun stamps, pencils are OK, ink is worthless. If you are looking at this stamp set, I would add in the cost of an ink pad to the total price.

So sad. I bought this for my princess-loving 2 yr old granddaughter who loves to stamp. The stamps have no color. They aren't dried out, they are damp, but no color comes onto the stamp. very disappointing for the little one. I am hesitant to buy the extra stamps because of the reviews on them.

The white takes the transparency away even though it lightens the color. Didn't care for that. I didn't use the black much at all. But the others colors were spectacular! Still having trouble with brush marks but working on that!
