This is NOT 5X7 inches! The packaging may be, but the the actual project is only 2x2! This is not an easy beginners project for young children. It is very tiny and difficult for little hands to work with. The frame is cheap plastic and the backing is a piece of heavy paper. (I guess if you ever get it finished, you would need to glue to paper to the back?) It was a cute design and I thought it would be a good learning project for girls ages 4-16 -none of the girls liked to work on these. The directions were vague; it was very frustrating.Granddaughter's first cross stitch she loves it! Instructions easy to follow. Colors are bright. Nothing more to say but need twelve words to post?
