I really do love the idea of an all-natural paint. That and the fact that I can mix up batches as needed sold me on Glob Paint Pigments. When I received the pigments, the first thing that struck me was how tiny the bottles are. Maybe the size is on the product description, but it just didn't occur to me that the bottles would be much smaller than your average spice jar. So, not a huge deal. I mixed some pigment with water but soon realized that I would have to use quite a bit of the pigment powder to make paint the consistency of tempera. Not wanting to use up all of the (expensive) pigment, I just mixed up a thicker water paint. It wasn't so bad since my son enjoyed it anyway, and it was kind of neat to see the delicate swirls of color on the paper. It's different, and it's nice...just not what I was expecting. For brighter color, I would recommend Clementine Art paints.

Really fun powdered paint that's all natural so the kids can use fingers and get messy without the worry of toxic paint on their skin. But, they're really small for the price. I like them but wouldn't buy again unless they were a lot less expensive.

I have been using these with my four year old for water colors, and they are wonderful. They smell and look amazing. I love the fact that I can let him paint without fear for cleanup or ingestion. Also comes out of clothing fairly easily.
