The product detail leads you to believe you are getting three booklets, when you are only getting one. The other two are just one page instructions folded to look like a booklet. The main booklet is not like the original and is written in five or so languages surrounding the picture making both the instructions (in your language) harder to read and detail in the illustration harder to see. Go for the original Jon Gnagy Learn To Draw.

It is a Christmas gift so I haven't used it but it looks as well put together as the other Jon Gnagy products I have purchased in the past.

Are you looking for pronged studs so that you can embellish your clothes yourself rather than paying an extra $20 to buy them that way like I was? Look no further. These will work! Here are a few things I noted while using them (so far I have "studded" a cotton tee shirt and a cardigan, so both pretty light materials):

-They are lightweight, which can be good or bad depending on what you are using them for. They worked just fine through a cotton tee shirt but they may not hold as well on blue jean type materials or something like vegan leather, so if that's what you are trying to use them on you may want to find something else.

-They were easy to apply using just my fingers. I'm too cheap to buy one of those stud-applicator things, so I just used my hands. I was poked a few times (the prong ends are SHARP, as they should be) but they are not challenging to use. Just make sure you bend the prongs all the way in once they are applied so they don't scrape you when you wear whatever you made! I'm sure if you had a stud applicator thing the process would be much easier and you may even be able to better get them through thicker materials.

-100 was definitely enough! After my two projects I have a lot left over which will be great for future projects.

All in all this is a good buy. They arrived quickly, appeared and worked as described, and served their purpose. If you're into saving some money, DIY, and being fashionable, for as many as you get this is much cheaper than paying extra for a studded item vs. a plain item at the store.

I've ordered *several* of these kanzashi flower makers, so I'll be basically copy/pasting my reviews on them since I feel the same about all of theme.

I got these to use with fabric ordered from spoonflower.com and one thing to note is that all of these are VERY small, I'd say that your design needs to be micro levels of tiny in order to be noticeable on the petals. The large, however, is much larger than the small, and looks pretty nice with a small (not too busy) pattern on it.

The patterns are all very straightforward to use, the holes are numbered, and if you take your time to gather the fabric nicely when you're pulling the thread, they're lovely!

I made mine using cotton poplin fabric, but I also attempted some using a cotton with some stretch and a brocade fabric that also had some stretch. They come out best with the basic cotton poplin very little fraying and the fabric folds very well. The fabrics with stretch, though, were much less cooperative, and want to fray WAY more while being worked with.

I've also tried just hand-folding these, and it takes me significantly longer to do. Not to mention the results aren't nearly as uniform.

But, I make flowers using these templates, glue them with E6000 to a small (about 1" diameter) circle of felt, cover a button in the same or a coordinating fabric (3/4" buttons work nicely with the small, 5/8" for x-small, and 1" for large), sew that in the middle after the glue is dried, and then attach the finished flower to a brooch, headband, or necklace. Using strong adhesives and a high-strength hand quilting thread, I've yet to have any of my crafts come apart!

If you're thinking of picking these up, they're fairly cheap and fun to use. Generally, I prefer the 5 petal flowers to the 10, but you can mix petals for different looks as well.

I found that it is easier to fold my own flowers than to use these templates. I like to use grosgrain ribbon, and these templates only seem to work well for fabric.

We stumbled upon these by chance when we were on a cruise. My kids started a fabric art project, and didn't finish. We learned what brand the cruise line used, and bought the same markers to complete their art. Bright colors, last a long time. I haven't tested the iron colorfastness yet, and will post again if that doesn't work. I will start using these rather than Sharpies for T-shirt autographing based on that!

I started this last year, but was overwhelmed by the many small parts, many steps, etc. I just finished it (August, the next year). This kit, and I assume the other Bucilla kits, are not for the faint of heart. If you want it for Christmas, start it about July 4. The finished product looks good, but is rather sparkly with lots of sequins and beads. You cannot eliminate any of these because they are preprinted on the felt. The front of the stocking is rather heavy because of the layers of felt and stuffing. Nonetheless, it turned out to be amazing. I hope my granddaughter grows up to appreciate the amount of work that goes into such an undertaking. The kit was complete, good directions, enough materials. Just realize that there are 85 steps, some of which contain many similar parts (the holly garland, for instance, is one step, but it entails embroidering and sewing many holly leaves plus adding the sequins).
