I used the snowman embossing folder to make cards for my three grand children for this coming Christmas. Love it! Haven't used the snowflake one yet, but I like it already...maybe next years design!

Just getting started with using embossing folders, but really like these for winter. Easy to use and I'll use it often.

I have many embossing folders, and I love these little guys. They came very quickly and were packaged very well, as is everything I order from Amazon. They make the cutest Christmas cards as well as Winter Solstice cards for those who might require an alternative celebration. I have also used them for winter birthday cards. One thing I like to do with any embossed card stock is to rub an ink pad over the raised part to bring it forward. I have also used very light sand paper to "rough up" the raised part and then add ink for color or not as desired. I have cut out the snowman part and used him for a gift tag too. Good stuff! I will order more styles.

Honest reviews on Sizzix 656944 Texture Fades Embossing 2 Folders

I would recommend this to anyone who loves embossed cards. Both folders are very versitle. Made Christmas card making easy.

Nothing to write home about. Gave to my grandson and I don't think he was all that thrilled with it.

It's a great thing for kids, I'm sure. However, there's no way for adults to make something nice with this kit. Break out the better colored pencils, ladies, cause these have too much wax for this type of paper (board). The color does not transfer on well, and does not cover up the lines either the white is useless for covering the pre-printed lines.

That said, it's a nice case get a different color though, because the pencils marked up the inside of my case really badly, before I ever received it probably from shoving the sharpened pencils in, and the tips dragging on the fabric. It's a pretty nice case though, no eraser but does come with a sharpener and pencils.

So in summation, if it's for a kid, go at it. For adults, I'd recommend at least using other CPs. And for those who want the pretty case, go for the purple of something pass on this one, it comes already dirty.

A nice art kit for the younger child boy or girl, ages 4 to about 10. Always nice to have everything in a zipper case pencils, directions, by-number panels. Helpful in learning technique for pencils as well as following numbered directions. Can take on vacation, in the car, for a sick child in bed or hospital. Royal is also a well known name in art supplies.

I threw a huge blacklight paint party with these! Amazing! They do stain clothes, it got everywhere! Warm water took it off tables and walls, etc. Glows really well under blacklight amazing product for the price!

I bought these paints to decorate the windows at my husband's store. They applied very well with a sponge, but looked awful when applied with a brush. However, I also used them on a cardboard sign used for a decoration at my church's Vacation Bible School, and they did a wonderful job. I was a bit leery at first, because I thought some of the colors, particularly the yellow, were going to need a second coat, but once they dried they were as bright as can be. Overall, I would recommend these paints.

I bought these paints to use for a blacklight Halloween party... they were perfect for what I wanted! They dried fast on the black paper... I think tempura is supposed to be washable... Let's hope so because we got it absolutely EVERYWHERE. Anyway, I am satisfied with my purchase. However, the selection of colors left us with basically a three-color palate... the blue glows well, the orange/yellow color turn out to look almost exactly the same (bright green), and the red and pink turn out to look EXACTLY the same (orange); the green DOES NOT GLOW AT ALL in comparison to the other colors. Perhaps they would glow differently under different blacklights? Would I recommend this product? Probably not; it worked well but I'm not sure it was worth the 30 dollars since I only got three colors.

I have done cardmaking for several years making each card personal to the individual which the card is for, using the name, picture and even the greeting to center around the individual. I have said this year that it was time to take the greeting cards to another level. I then found Spellbinders Dies, and wow what a discovery. That's the best discovery ever, and you can't just stop at ordering a couple, I have added numerous dies to my library and every time I say, OK, this is enough, I see another one that I feel I just MUST have. I love interworking them with others. GREAT DISCOVERY!

this craft punch didn't make a clean circle every time that I used it... and that's kinda the whole point right? I shouldn't have to clean up the edges with scissors...

I began an addictive new hobby a year ago card making. I love to make cards and spend many hours in Michaels browsing and buying supplies for my new addiction! I wanted a flower punch and bought the Martha Stewart Pop-Up Hydrangea Punch about two weeks ago. I threw out the cardboard container and sales receipt as I love all the Martha Stewart craft products I have bought. Last night I tried to use the punch. When I bought the punch, the PICTURE and INSTRUCTIONS on the cardboard container for the punch said there was an open circle on the bottom of the punch to "eye up" the punch on the color of paper one used for the flower. Since the box was sealed, I could not look inside the box and check out the punch. I thought I would use it as any other punch in the Martha Stewart line. I thought the words "Pop-Up Hydrangea Punch" meant that the middle of the flower was larger and the flower could be used with a dimensional for a 3-D look. However, that is not the case. Forget the picture and instructions on the box as the punch only cuts out the petals and the center of the flower is part of the paper you are using. It is hard to place the punch exactly where you want to punch a flower. After going back to Michaels, I found the same cardboard container with the same PICTURE and INSTRUCTIONS is used on all the Martha Stewart punches. Since I had thrown out the receipt and container, I am now stuck with an expensive punch that I do not want. I feel the picture and instructions for a non pop-up punch should not be used to house a pop-up punch and is misleading.

Excellent product! I've used it dozens of times and it makes perfect hearts. I also bought the butterfly and the circle. The butterfly cuts perfect butterflies, but the circle was returned for a refund (none in stock), as it didn't punch through completely.

IT's TEN MONTHS LATER and though I use the heart punch at least once a week, it has stopped working altogether so I've changed my 5 star rating to a 3. I am disappointed it didn't last longer.SORRY...NOT EXCELLENT LIKE I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT.:-(

I made a whole bunch of snowflakes out of used security envelopes with the blue print on the inside and they looked very nice decorating my office this past winter. Don't try punching very thick cardstock or you'll end up disappointed because it will get stuck. I like the way it creates a curved snowflake and learned that I had to squeeze the punch twice in order to get that effect and to release the cut paper, otherwise the paper won't come out.

Am a new artist (experimental, mostly acrylics and collages) and ordered the Prang crayons to use when other paints and inks aren't practical. Took them on walks and bike rides on the car-less Mackinac Island. They were easy to use and can be delightfully smeared and smudged.
