Great price for all the feet. And for those having trouble with the ruffler.. every ruffler in the world is a pain in the back side to figure out when you first start using them. And I admit that the instructions that come with it where worthless! I even called the manufacturer and no one got back to me.

I did so much searching online and finally came across a great REAL manual for using a ruffler foot. Google the words "ruffler unruffled" and a free PDF will come up. I used it and after some reading and a few failed tries, fixed my problem.

Just be prepared to take a few days or hours (if your lucky) to figure out the kinks of the enigma called the "ruffler foot".. it is kind of like learning to operate a fancy overhead projector with no instructions.

Again, google "ruffler unruffled"

Distinctive 7-Piece Sewing Foot Home Dec Package Includes Ruffler, Concealed Zipper Foot, Gathering Foot, 1/4" Welting Foot, Adjustable Zipper Foot, Non-Stick Foot, Roller Foot + Case Fits All Low Shank Snap-On Singer, Brother, Janome and More!

Good quality sewing foot package. It actually includes 8 pieces, not 7 since an adaptor is included for machines that do not automatically accept snap-on feet; a pleasant surprise in a market-place that teaches us to routinely accept "gotcha" type product claims. The feet are well-packaged in a permanent storage case with a formed foam insert to cradle each foot and to keep it from being damaged in storage.

When I checked the price on a ruffler-foot at my local sewing shops, the lowest price I found was $35 plus tax (9.4%) for that one piece alone. Even though some pieces are duplicates of ones I already own, overall I saved money with this package. I will definitely use both the piping and the 1/4 inch welting feet and I won't have to purchase a non-stick foot which is useful in some home decorating projects (sewing on vinyl or leather for instance.)

If you are not an experienced sewer however, I highly recommend a sewing class to learn how to use the specialized feet especially the ruffler. While the included instructions are detailed and complete, they may not make a lot sense to a beginning sewer who does not know the terminology used. (Our local sewing shop has a class entitled "Sewing With Your Feet" whose title might make more sense to you if you've been trying to use some of the specialized feet that may have come with your machine.) The instructions include a quick-check guide at the beginning of the instructions for each foot that tell you at-a-glance whether to use a straight or zig-zag stitch as well as the recommended thread tension and stitch length.

The sewing feet are good quality and should work fine with the listed brands and models. For certain very-expensive sewing machines, you will want to stick with the original manufacturer's custom presser-feet to avoid damaging your machine and voiding your warranty.

Good price, good quality, excellent packaging and shipping.

This product exceeded my expectations. The ruffler works great. The ruffler itself can cost $40+ and is the foot I was searching for. When I found this package with the roller, teflon, and welting feet as well, it was not a difficult decision to purchase.

I bought this set because I wanted the ruffler foot and this seemed like the most cost effective way to get it. I sewed with it for probably 5 hours the day it arrived. It started out working fine, but progressively began to break more and more needles (I broke probably 12-15 during the course of the day). I'm not sure if something got out of alignment or what, but I couldn't solve the problem. The vendor was extremely willing to help over email, but it's hard to virtually diagnose and fix a problem of this sort. I ended up returning the foot package. If this foot works with your machine, it's a great deal.. however, it didn't work for mine. I have a Babylock Crafter's Choice sewing machine.

This set is really great! The ruffler is a bit tricky, but there are videos on youtube, and I found a great manual at youcanmakethis.com. You have to sign up before you download it, but it goes into great detail about using the ruffler, its parts and different types. With the help of the manual (the one included is not very detailed) and the videos I had a fairly easy time figuring it out, I was ruffling in under an hour. I am also in love with the welting attachment, it makes it so easy!! I can't wait to use the others. The pieces are metal and of very good quality.

Also, my box came with a part missing and I emailed Mr. and Mrs.Vac and Sew and they responded within and hour and have shipped out the missing part. It came today.

I definitely recommend this product and company.

Honest reviews on Sizzix 657776 Framelits Die Set 6-Pack with Stamps, Floral by Hero

I do a lot of hand-crafted greeting cards for fundraisers for various charities, and I'm always looking for something a little "different."

I love this stamp set! Most of my cards are of the "thinking of you" variety, as it works for so many occasions (sympathy, get well, "hello," etc.). The flowers in this set are nice size, and the two individual flower "heads" layer beautifully with a tab of foam tape in between for a dimensional effect.

I use Gelatos to color the stamps, mist lightly with water, and then stamp, giving a slightly watercolor effect. I line up the die and secure with a bit of washi tape (or painters tape) before running through my Sizzix Big Shot, and get good results every time.

Very happy with these! They're already getting a good workout.

I gifted this to a tween girl, age 11, who enjoys drawing and crafts. She played with it a full 2 hours on Christmas morning. It was the first gift she played with and she created 3 lovely rooms: a dream bedroom, a music room and a room for her brother. It was obviously her favorite gift. Lots of youth flavored designs and fun are included. You will find a variety of lamps, instuments, beds, rugs, windows, funky sofas and chairs, curtains and lots of room to use your imagination in your designs. Zero learning curve for her; her first drawings were a great success. This set requires 3 AA batteries to run the light tablet which is nice and bright and good for tracing all sorts of things. You could use normal printer paper to draw on. The pencils in the set are very basic. If you have the money to spare, I suggest a nice set of colored pencils and a good sharpener to go along with this set.Lots of colors will create more variety in designs and they can pattern bedspreads and the walls. This is just the perfect toy for those girls who have outgrown most toys! Worth the money and fine motor skills educational. Very pleased!

I found this after I purchased their spiral version with stencils. I have always loved interior design and have looked for a long time for something artistic and easy, and most importantly youthful to enjoy. I have an art degree, and even studied some interior design in college, yet to sadly find out at the time it wasn't fully credited at that time. That kinda put my dream on hold. Yet not sure I want to make it a career anymore due to the fact not many with this economy are hiring interior decorators or designers.

I found their stencil version kinda overwhelming or hard to figure out where to start so to speak. It's probably because I'm an adult. I'm sure a kid would pick it up and start off right where they needed to. I still kept looking for options of games or programs are artistic ways to express my inner decorator and designer, yet easy. I found this and absolutely was sold on the fact it was with a light. I wish it was AC adaptor but beggers can't be choosers. :) Their inlays make it so much easier to see your options for your room then their stencils. It's basically the same concept and designs, just in a different format. I still love both and sometimes even intertwine the two. However, I think this one may be my fav of all the interior design kits in this genre.

My 10 year old daughter loves to be creative so when I saw this interior design set on Amazon I knew she'd love it. It's such a great way for her to use her imagination and design her dream rooms. I gave four stars because I don't really care for the pencils/crayons that come with the set. I would recommend purchasing a nice set of colored pencils.

"Chinese Calligraphy Brush Pen Reviews

Customer Ratings:

This set is about 8.25 inch. it may be good for little kids below 9 years old to use, but for adults, no. Actually in China, even young kids around age five use standard brushes. So.. make your decision carefully!

Even with shipping and handling, I got this for about $13. The set looks like it is worth a lot more than the price I paid. I tried to search for this item sold by other dealers. This price seems to be the best. The case and the items in it are very small as other people indicated. It is about the size of a small hand spread out wide. It has nice quality looking items inside. I didn't get the impression that this was cheaply made. The stone, ink, and bowl were actually quite beautiful. If I had a need for this again, I would surely buy it again. This vendor seems to have some good deals.

It is a lot smaller than what I expected. It is very small like a toy.

I purchased an item from Asian Home and it arrived damaged. I received their permisson to return the item, which I did. The postage to return this damaged item was $13.53! I felt that since the company sent me a damaged item, I should not have to pay the postage to return it. By email, the company agreed to return my postage, but they did not. I have waited 2 months. Beware!! This company sends out damage products and does not keep their word.

Custom Body Art -6 Color Kit Temporary Tattoo 1 Ounce Airbrush Review

Customer Ratings:

I got a 6 airbrush set for Christmas and have always wanted to try different aspects of this art form I purchased the inks and did some practice tats. One of my coworkers has a son in the navy and she wanted to see what an anchor tattoo would look like. I made a template and sprayed the tat on my fore arm. She was impressed and wants to get a permanent one.

The only problem is the bottles. Some of them allow the ink to be put back in others don't mixed and matched bottle types. Some were not so easy to squeeze out the ink I had to drip the ink in the airbrush bottle.

The ink works as advertised and the Navy tat lasted about a week with me showering and working in my warm garage. Sweat didn't remove it. After it started to fade, I used rubbing alcohol to remove the remainder. It worked.

The stuff works just as I expected it to. Temporary tattoos are not complicated artform, so I was not expecting miracles. It stays in the skin good, it covers good and it doesn't take that much to do a tattoo. I'm happy with the product and I think it will last me a while. I would recommend this for making quick easy temporary tattoos.

I'm pleased with these paints so far. Dosn't always last as long as some other more expencive brands I've heard about, but they do the job. My last order of these, somehow I ended up getter 4/6 of the colors in the 2oz instead of the 1oz. Not gonna complain!!!!

Luco Quick Drying Gold Leaf Size for Guilding 32 oz Can (946ml Review

Customer Ratings:

I ordered Luco because my local supplier was out of the brand of quick-drying oil-base gold size I normally use. I will use Luco from now on. It is superior in quality: dries evenly, has a longer working time, does not run on vertical surfaces,

and does not turn to gel in the container after opening. Price from supplier listed on Amazon was also the same or slightly less than what I have been paying for a product of lesser quality. Supplier also packed item well and shipped quickly.

My 5 year old granddaughter adored this set. She couldn't wait to see what invisible patterns came up everywhere she colored. There are no complicated directions and dozens of colors to try. She noticeded right away that the patterns that appeared were relevant to the theme of the picture such as a musical note pattern on the picture of a guitar. She colored really carefully and proudly showed off to everyone.

RoseArt 8-Color Washable Watercolors with 1 Paintbrush, Packaging Review

Customer Ratings:

For the low price, these paints are just right. We go through them quickly but they are bright, a great texture and inexpensive.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I purchased these paints at a local store for under a dollar. At that price, they're a good deal.

Once your child has used them, you'll see that there isn't as much paint in each little cup as it seems. This set is good for about 3-4 uses, at most. The more popular colors may only last for 1-2 uses and the less popular, longer. The set also includes a paintbrush. For under a dollar, I'd say that's worth it, though.

One last thing these paints are "washable" but that's a very broad term. I find they come out of clothes just fine when washed relatively soon after the paint gets on them. My kids' skin is less forgiving. I find if they take a bath, the paints will come off, but if I try to use a baby wipe, some color will remain on their hands and faces, no matter how much I wipe them.
