Discount Munhwa Set of 24 Colored Pencils in a Tin
Very nice set. Artist quality pencils, rich colors, good range, easy to work with, nicely boxed. Only downside is that since they were shipped from South Korea, it took something like 12 days to get here. But this is minor; the product itself is outstanding.

Review of Crayola Marker Maker
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a great set for younger children. My daughter is 9 years old and was so excited to get this. She had a blast for over an hour playing around making markers and concocting colors and she still has plenty to make.
What you get is a nicely made and completely contained kit that folds open for use and folds up to carry and store. Then you get parts for making 16 markers including the nib, tube, foam insert, end cap and cap. There are three ink bottles and two mixing tubes. There is a mixing chart as well to use as a guide but you can also create your own color combinations. Coming up with fun color names adds to the creativity.
My daughter had a blast making her own markers, labeling them and writing with them. She especially liked watching the ink wick up the foam insert and nib.
I like how they are self contained, there is very little chance of making a big mess and parental involvement includes just basic supervision.
Refills are available Crayola Marker Refill Pack and will make the kit last longer. I'm not sure what would happen if you added more ink to an existing marker once it runs out but there is plenty of ink left over.
***UPDATE*** I have to comment on pricing. Retail is usually around $20-25. I've seen it lower at other stores and I actually purchased an additional kit yesterday to keep as a gift and it was in the low teens. It is worth checking back periodically to see what the price is since it has fluctuated as much as $17 in a day.***
The reality was, this was a fun project, the markers works just as well as store bought markers (same construction) and the mess was minimal as I was the one who poured the ink.
Is there opportunity to make a giant inky mess? Yes, but that pretty much comes with the territory with any ink/paint project. By me doing the project with the kids, there was virtually zero mess and also very little clean up. Just be sure to do this project on a space that isn't harmed by washable marker ink. (Unfinished wood floors, upholstery, etc.)
After figuring out where everything went, the project just zipped along. The most confusing aspect was the marker parts onboard storage, which ended up being unnecessary as we went through the entire kit in one sitting. A few details about the kit:
* Makes 16 markers.
* Includes two cardboard marker holders (8 per box) that can be colored and labeled with the child's name. Works great with two kids or less.
* Very easy to measure the ink, and assemble to the markers.
* Included inks are Red, Yellow, Blue which means you basically get markers of those colors plus shades of green, orange, and purple. Would be nice to have some variety, but it's also plenty to fill a child's box with 8 unique colors.
* Plenty of ink to make a variety of colors also allowing for a child's preference of certain shades. E.g. if a child's favorite color is blue, you won't run out of blue ink if you make more than a couple different blues, though you will if you try to make 8 different blue markers.
* Maker casings are clear so you can see you custom colors pretty neat, and included stickers to label them doesn't entirely cover the housing. A smart decision in my humble opinion.
If I had a gripe, it's that with only three base ink colors, you are somewhat limited in the number of shades you can get from the set. Still what you do get is a great start to making your markers own and hopefully there are refill sets that expand on the number of colors you can make.
In the end my 7yo daughter said this is the best Crayola project we have done together. In summary, if your children like coloring with markers AND enjoying making things/doing projects, I would highly recommend this set.
Though, the Marker Maker has a downside to it. The refills and the Marker Maker itself are overpriced compared to just buying a pack of markers.
I would recommend that since the apparatus has a messy personality there should be parental supervision when it is in use.
Considering all of this I would give the Crayola Marker Maker a 6 1/2 out of 10.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I didn't know what to think when I ordered this set. Will the kids enjoy it? Will it be a fun project? Will the markers actually work? Will is be hard to do or really messy? The reality was, this was a fun project, the markers works just as well as store bought markers (same construction) and the mess was minimal as I was the one who poured the ink.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program My 5-year old niece LOVED creating her own markers! Kids 8 and up may not need an adult to help, but under that and an adult may need to help squeeze the ink for the child. Otherwise, children can do most everything else themselves. It's easy to use, and surprisingly not too messy at all. The ink is not washable, so you'll want to put newspaper down just in case the ink drips. Kids can learn about colors in a fresh and unique way. They can mix their own colors with a helpful chart or try their own. Plus, they can create labels on each marker to name their colors whatever they wish. And when supplies are low, you can purchase additional ink or markers separately as needed. The wait time for ink to soak into the marker is only a couple minutes.Honest reviews on Crayola Marker Maker
My daughter got this for her birthday and hasn't stopped playing with it. She has made almost every marker color available and is going to use them in her marker airbrush machine!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Crayola Marker Maker
The Crayola Marker Maker is fun for kids in so many ways. It comes with all the parts of the regular Crayola marker and more: enough ink to fill all the markers they give you and a card that tells you how to make a variety of colors. The marker comes with an all new improvement: it's now see-through to see if you made the color you wanted and to show you how much ink is left in the marker.Though, the Marker Maker has a downside to it. The refills and the Marker Maker itself are overpriced compared to just buying a pack of markers.
I would recommend that since the apparatus has a messy personality there should be parental supervision when it is in use.

My granddaughter absolutely loves her heart bead set. She is only two and a half, but will sit for hours stringing beads, and proudly presenting bracelets and necklaces to me and her mother. The beads and laces are well made, the wooden box is great for storage. It reminds me of toys from days gone by!Best Deals for Wooden Beads Set
These are fantastic for small hands and special needs (poor motor skills, poor hand eye coordination). Large, chunky and super cute. Lost one star because many of the beads are a bit rough around the hole. Still usable but may begin to shred the stringing material after a short period of time.Honest reviews on Wooden Beads Set
My daughter loves this bead set, they are really nice beads, bright colors, and easy for her to lace onto the cording. Great item! Highly recommend for little girls (maybe age 4-7).Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Wooden Beads Set
These beads are quite pretty and well painted. My kids haven't opened them yet but I am very impressed with how well painted and finished each bead is. It seems a good amount of beads for the price.Friday, October 31, 2014

Not sure exactly what makes her like it so much, but obviously she does not want to go back to the pallet water color any more. :)
First let me say the only reason I gave this 'very inexpensive' set of watercolors 4 stars is that they can by no means be called 'artists watercolors'

Buy Sargent Art 22-1581 50-Count Fine Tip Washable Marker Packs
This was part of my 1st Amazon order. I paid $10.71USD for it then; I see the price is lower now ..
Where to begin with the problems .. ? 1st, The wonderful plastic carrying case opened 1st day of use and never snapped again .. The notches that hold the case together come out, the pens are difficult to stand in the case, and something else separated. I'll get back to you when I figure out what.
Next no colour name on barrel which seems to be common with many writing utensils. Cap colour rarely has anything to do with colour marker produces also a common problem you'll see in reviews.
Here's the best!!! About 7 of the pinks or pink / violet have the same or really close colour to each other!!! And if the cap colour is a "true pink", it still writes with this pink / violet colour. There's another colour with several markers the same or similar colour production. Oy vei ..
I'm not exactly sure why these are called "fine point" and they have never made a fine line. I did learn from these tips that if you lean your hand so the tip is almost flat to the paper, it makes a big fat line that colours more area quickly.
Incidentally, Purchased from another online retailer a set of Sargent Art 120 coloured pencils, hoping it was an inexpensive copy of those nice primacolour / Sanford pencils and in that box, there were duplicates also! However, the concept that "high use colours" should have several of the colour in 1 box, is not a bad idea. Ok, so 4 white pencils can be helpful and 2 gold and 2 silver pencils is good and a treat, and they were, incidentally, quite smooth for gold / silver pencils as a whole. So in that box, although I think it was sold this way with the intent to make an artist's life easier by having several pencils of 1 colour, there were really only about 56 different colours out of 120 pencils ...
This isn't the case with their markers. There is simply something wrong at Sargent, like poor chemical mixing or laziness or where it is produced using which robots, etc.
My back is starting to hurt from this fahcoctah typing chair so I must close even though I am fairly certain I am not finished whining about Sargent Art 22-1581 50-Count Fine Tip Washable Marker Packs.
In short: don't buy these markers!!!
The concept was great. It would have been wonderful had the pens not been dried out. Over half of them did not work. My crafters were disappointed as well as myself.
Not good for adult coloring unless you have large areas to cover.

Some colors are very close to others but for the price you can overlook that. The color variation is great though. Way better than Crayolas but no Prisma Colors so dont try and color great pieces of art with these. These markers are great for sketching and quick drawings. Great for teenagers and artists who are just looking for something cheap and gets the job done. Very happy with the purchase.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sargent Art 22-1581 50-Count Fine Tip Washable Marker Packs
When I received this package the plastic case was tattered and disrupted. The markers were falling out. That goodness I can get past physical attributes because when I opened them to test them they were near perfect. All of the markers worked, none were dry as compared to some of the other reviews I saw. I did notice that many of the colors were similar...not the same...but similar in shade. I've seen worse so I wasn't too concerned about that. They do have a very nice conical tip. There are directions on the back regarding the use of the tip that were helpful and useful. I have used other broad tip Sargent markers in the past so I had a little bit of an understanding what these were going to be like. They are school grade markers at a school grade price. I like them.Thursday, September 4, 2014

IWATA Eclipse HP-BCS AIRBRUSH Kit With Airbrush Depot 1 Year Reviews
A complete set to get you started. My wife does a lot of crafts and also some motorcycle painting, so she's pretty stoked. Iwata has already made a name for themselves so you know the quality is there. The air compressor needs to be described on the website more accurately. Had I known you could only run the tank for 10 minutes at a time before it overheats, then let it cool down for (a suggested) 15 minutes (actually takes longer), I would not have bought the product. The tank is a piece of junk and I didn't intend on paying such a high amount of money on something I couldn't spend more time working with. I contacted the seller and have not resolved the issue yet. Keep getting the run around. First I was presented with "are you sure you'd like a refund?", then "do you want store credit?" (NO!), and now the person in charge of that department is out of town until next week?! Horrible customer service, horrible quality products. Waste of money if you ask me. This matter should have been resolved the first day I had a complaint. I also did not receive half my order (they said they shipped it now for the second time, and it's still not here). I am very unhappy with TCP Global. I HIGHLY SUGGEST INVESTING YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!

Discount Xyron Creatopia Cutz Blades, Package of 2, Straight
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $14.99

You can cut any size paper with the straight cutz blades! If you want to cut several strips say 8 of them at 1" at the same time then you will need to purchase more of the straight blades but you get 2 blades to the package and the cost is $14.95 for 2. Just snap the blades onto the Cutz accessory and it is all set to go. I could have used the Creatopia Cutz accessory to make ornaments to put on my tree but my husband helped me and we cut the 1" strips the hard way with a paper cutter which was very time consuming and we had to measure every 1" but with the Creatopia Cutz you can set the blades at 1" intervals and cut the strips all at once! I'm only using 1" as an example, you can choose your own size to cut. I have some of the other cutz blades which just blow me away! If you make cards or do scrapbooking there are so many possibilites of what you can do with the Creatopia Cutz. The Perforation and Scoring blades are a must for me as I do make my own cards. I plan to purchase all the different Cutz blades as they become available. I love the Xyron Creatopia, it is pricey when you have to buy the Cutz, Border Pattern accessories and soon the Shapez one when it becomes available. I would look for the bundle price as it should be more cost effective. It is so easy to use with endless possiblities! Uses no electricity and can be setup anyplace you need to use it. Xyron has "invented" a wonderful product to make scrapbooking and card making very fun and enjoyable to use! I'm so happy I have a Creatopia!

The rhinestone ribbon was exactly what I needed for my niece's graduation cake to give the essence of bling. I wouldn't necessarily use these for a super formal wedding cake, but for other uses they would work. The ribbon was flexible (not stiff) and easy to use. I don't remember why I purchased these, but they are great for scrapbookers, kids and general arts and crafts people. I can draw reasonably well, but my painting skills are very weak. With these, I can draw a picture and then use a little water to soften and blend the colors and get the effect of a painting. Everyone who gives them a try really enjoys the results. My only complaint is the lack of purple. There is pink, but no purple. I look forward to purchasing a larger set with more colors. The sturdy case flips back to make a stand which is a great feature.

I am currently working on this project and it is great. Not one I'd recommend for beginners, there is a lot of satin stitching but the cross stitching and outlining goes really fast. Make sure your hands are dry before working on this, the printed design dissolves very easily and too much handling makes it difficult to see.
